Just 30 miles south of Colorado’s state capital, tucked away in the Colorado Mountains, sits the community of Castle Rock. Over the past few years, Castle Rock’s business population has begun to grow exponentially, and office space has quickly became limited. To prevent local businesses from moving, White Development and the Castle Rock Economic Development Counsel worked together to realize a new office building called The Move – a name that symbolized how businesses wouldn’t have to move outside of city limits to expand. The 50,000-square- foot, four-story building houses businesses from fast-growing industries like marketing, food auditing and general contracting.
The Move was made possible by a private/public partnership with the Town of Castle Rock’s Economic Development Counsel.
The Move was designed to provide unrivaled flexibility for businesses of any size. The floorplates allow for spaces from 140 to 15,000+ square feet, with collaborative common areas and amenities designed for forward thinking workforces—from bike racks to electric car charging stations.
Atop The Move is the first system of solar panels used in a downtown Castle Rock building. Approximately 270 panels cover more than 8,600 square feet of rooftop, providing clean and free energy for the building and its tenants.
